Using Halifaxjkamail
To post a message to all the list members, send email to halifaxjkamail@nsjka.ca. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below. List Rules Note: You are responsible for your own mail list account. You can subscribe and unsubscribe yourself, so please record and keep in a safe place your username and password. Please use your full real name (first & last name) and not a screen name when signing up for the list, as only club members are allowed to sign up. You may not be accepted as a member if we do not know who you are. Use an email address that is clean and does not generate delivery errors. (Full mailboxes, auto-forward errors, etc). The system will automatically remove you from the list if too many "Delivery Errors" are generated from your account. A warning to hotmail users: HOTMAIL junkmail filter is known to autodelete messages from the karate club. Please use alternative address OR set your hotmail to accept emails from us. A warning to Yahoo users: The Yahoo mail filter will frequently place list messages in the bulk mail folder. Please check this folder for messages from the club and/or change the mail filter options to allow list emails to go to the inbox. Be fair and respectful to all members No foul language or inappropriate topics.
Subscribing to Halifaxjkamail
Subscribe to Halifaxjkamail by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address: Your name (required): You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
